Overview

I’ve always wondered what happens when a person becomes their own brand - when thoughts and instincts start to take visual form.
Grayson began as a quiet experiment of self, shaping pixels into purpose and clarity out of noise.
It’s not about creating a look - it’s about understanding who I am through what I design.

Design Direction

Every decision, every line, every color becomes a quiet dialogue between who I am and who I’m becoming.

As an Essence

Before Grayson had a name or a form, it started from a quiet space - a place between awareness and creation. The light doesn’t move fast; it expands slowly, as if it’s learning what it wants to become. Blue and violet represent clarity and depth, the calm before intention.

This is the moment before understanding - when energy simply exists, waiting to take shape.

As an Archetype

The Tarot says I’m The Hierophant - someone who learns not to know more, but to understand deeper. The Hierophant finds meaning in structure, connection in tradition, and peace in clarity.

When shaping Grayson, I realized The Sage had always been there too - the quiet observer who turns reflection into knowledge, who explains what feels abstract. Grayson sits between them. The Hierophant gives it soul; The Sage gives it voice.

Through this project, I’ve learned that wisdom isn’t something you own but something you practice. Grayson became that practice: a space to listen, to question, and to turn awareness into design.

As a Logo

The logo was never meant to look clever - it was meant to feel true. I started with the letter G, but it quickly became more than an initial. The folded form felt like something opening, like a thought breaking through itself. The negative space inside reminded me of light finding a way in - a small ray, subtle but certain.

That’s what I wanted Grayson to hold: quiet hope. The idea that even in structure, there’s room for light. The sharp angles show discipline and control, but the space between them leaves room to breathe. It’s both shield and window - confidence and curiosity in one shape.

When I look at it now, it doesn’t feel like just a logo. It feels like a reminder - that clarity isn’t about knowing everything, it’s about allowing light to pass through what you build.

As a Stationery

The stationery represents how something deeply internal can take physical form. The card and envelope are not made to impress – they exist to hold meaning. The debossed logo sits quietly on black paper, catching just enough light to be seen. Inside, the purple glow spills out like thought finding its voice – a reminder that expression doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful.

Each element was designed to feel intentional, not decorative – the texture of the paper, the restraint in form, the calm between light and dark. Together, they reflect what Grayson stands for: quiet awareness translated into design, and design as a language of presence.

As a Reflection

Grayson isn’t a finished identity - it’s still changing, just like me. This project started as a way to understand design, but it slowly turned into a way to understand myself. Every form, every silence, every light in it says something I couldn’t put into words before. It reminds me that growth doesn’t always look loud - sometimes it’s quiet, steady, and personal. Grayson became that space for me - to think, to listen, and to keep learning.

The light keeps learning.
